Initial Treatment Appointments (braces, expanders, etc.) can take from 45 minutes to 1½ hours depending upon the treatment plan. Appointments taking 40 minutes and longer are typically scheduled in the morning to save time in the afternoon for the popular after-school adjustment appointment times and new patient exams.
After these initial appointments, you will typically be seen every 4 to 8 weeks for an adjustment, which takes 20 to 30 minutes. These adjustment appointments are an important part of your orthodontic treatment. Our practice will work with you to make sure that your appointments are as convenient as possible. When scheduling appointments, please let us know what days and times work best for you.
We understand that “life happens”! If you’re running late or need to reschedule, please let us know, and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate you. When you’re ready to schedule your first appointment, contact our practice and we will assist you. We’re looking forward to working with you.
We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment. After missing your second appointment without notifying us 24 hours in advance, you are subject to being charged an additional fee. It is very difficult to reschedule after-school appointments because they are usually booked 6-8 weeks in advance.
