At the end of treatment, retainers will be provided to hold your teeth in their corrected position. We recommend full-time wear of retainers for six months. After that, retainers may be worn just at night for a minimum of 12 months. During the year following removal of your braces, we will periodically check your teeth and retainers.
We have several types of retainers to choose from, including clear (Invisalign-style), bonded and the traditional removable plastic retainer.
